Assistant Director (Special Project)
What the role is
What you will be working on
Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job. This will include the important result areas (what) along with the rationale (why).
Data Management and Analysis
- Leverage available data, technology and innovation to improve work efficiency of the CDCs’ common-based programmes.
- Lead the development of data visualisation for CDCs programmes.
- Analyse and present information and statistical reports on CDC programmes for management reporting.
- Prepare regular reports to highlight and profile CDC work through close collaboration with CDCs, internal stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners.
Operations and Communications
- Plan and carry out operations on the common-based programmes.
- Work with government agencies and partners to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Establish communication frameworks with internal and external stakeholders on programme matters.
Common-Based Programmes
- Lead the implementation of national schemes that cut across five CDCs under DD's strategic direction, and oversee community-based programmes across CDCs to ensure effective use of resources.
- Lead the preparation of papers and reports, and conduct presentations to highlight and profile CDC work as assigned by SD.
Social Innovation and Community Development
- Lead the development and incubation of innovative programmes to meet emerging and existing, and increasingly complex needs.
Secretariat
- Oversee the corporate and administrative functions of CPD which includes secretariat and staffing duties for meetings co-ordinated by and involving CPD, for programmes and projects and media matters involving all CDCs
- Design and facilitate CPD/CDCs workplan/ workshops, and the development of the overall CDCs’ strategies so as to align to CDC’s mission and PA’s objectives.

Knowledge & Skills
- At least 5 years of Supervisory Experience, relevant working experience with strong IT and data analytics background.
- Experience in project management and communication
- Can write well
- Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
- Team Player
