What the role is

What you will be working on

Duties

•To review, formulate and implement strategies, policies and programmes to attract and retain employees that can contribute effectively to SFA.

•To manage HR operations related to recruitment of manpower, contract management, exit management so as to ensure timely delivery of effective and efficient HR services. This includes the management of permanent, contract and temporary manpower.

•To review and streamline HR process and systems to improve effectiveness and employees’ experience. This includes management of HR service providers and vendors.

•To analyse manpower trends and HR data to develop action plans to enhance attraction and other HR strategies, policies and programmes in line with business needs.

What we are looking for

Qualifications

•Work experience in HR operations, Workday and HR data analytics will be an advantage.

•Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills

•Ability to engage and establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders

•Ability to work independently and in a team

•Meticulous, resourceful, analytical and able to work in a fast paced environment

About Singapore Food Agency

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) is a new Statutory Board formed under the ‘Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) to oversee food safety and security. The SFA will serve as the single point of contact for public feedback on food-related issues, and strengthen management of foodborne disease outbreaks to protect public health. The SFA will also facilitate more business-friendly regulations with oversight of all food safety policies and consolidation of food laboratory capabilities to deepen competencies in food diagnostics, and research and development in food safety.
