The Strategic Communications and Outreach Group (SCOG) at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) leads URA's storytelling in all formats so as to promote URA's work and key messages as well as influence public perception. We do this by developing content and stories for a variety of URA's partners, stakeholders and general audiences through different channels (e.g. mainstream media, social media, Singapore City Gallery and outreach programmes). Through this, we facilitate URA's public engagement in building awareness and interest among the community about our work as well as policies in shaping our city. The Outreach and Engagement Department in SCOG is seeking suitable candidates to join us as interns. The team conceptualises, organises and manages a range of outreach projects to positively shape public perception of URA and grow support for its work amongst target audiences. One of our key outreach assets is the Singapore City Gallery, which is a highly immersive and interactive gallery that features urban planning challenges and the innovative solutions that tackle them.
This internship will be under SCOG.
