What you will be working on

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated graduate to join our Product Operations team supporting GovTech’s developer platforms — SHIP-HATS, CStack, and StackOps.

You’ll work closely with experienced Product Ops Managers to monitor adoption, improve user experience, and strengthen engagement across our developer community.

This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how large-scale digital products are managed, measured, and improved across government.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Support Product Adoption & Insights 

  • Track adoption and usage metrics across SHIP-HATS, CStack, and StackOps. 

  • Help maintain dashboards and reports on adoption trends vs total addressable market (TAM). 

  • Analyse data to identify opportunities to increase both breadth (new subsystem onboarding) and depth (feature usage) of adoption. 

  • Support campaigns or pilots aimed at driving adoption growth. 

 

2. Improve User Experience 

  • Help design and manage feedback loops across multiple channels — support tickets, user surveys, Slack/Teams channels, and training sessions. 

  • Synthesise user feedback into actionable insights for the product teams. 

  • Contribute to mapping and improving the end-to-end user journey: 

  • Pre-onboarding and onboarding 

  • Training and enablement 

  • Product usage and support 

  • Offboarding and exit feedback 

  • Partner with Product Ops leads to ensure users receive timely responses and clear guidance. 

 

3. Support Value & Impact Tracking 

  • Assist in gathering evidence of how users benefit from the products (e.g. productivity, delivery speed, reduced issues). 

  • Work with the team to compile success stories and usage summaries for internal sharing. 

 

4. Communications & Engagement 

  • Help prepare regular product updates, newsletters, and roadmap announcements. 

  • Contribute to welcome campaigns and other outreach activities to engage users. 

  • Support internal coordination with other Product Managers, Engineers, and Enablement teams.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications: 

  • Final-year student or recent graduate (any discipline) with an interest in product management, data analytics, or developer tools. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Analytical and comfortable working with data (e.g. dashboards, spreadsheets). 

  • Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how public-sector platforms operate at scale. 

  • Experience with Jira, GitLab, or similar tools is a plus (not required).

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
