Snr Mgr/ Mgr/ Assist Mgr/ Snr Exec (Policy & Planning), SG Cares Office

The work of the Resilience and Engagement Division (RED) centres on strengthening social solidarity and commitment to Singapore. We do this through three pillars of work: fostering a strong and inclusive sense of national identity; helping newcomers integrate into Singapore and appreciate what it means to be part of Singapore; and promoting a culture of philanthropy and volunteerism. The SG Cares Office in RED develops policies and enablers to promote and strengthen philanthropy and volunteerism in Singapore.

Your role in the Policy and Planning team of the SG Cares Office includes the following functions. • Policy Development and Review: You will engage stakeholders and scan the landscape in Singapore and abroad to understand the drivers of philanthropy and volunteerism locally, and how they compare with the giving context abroad. You will use these insights to inform the development and review of strategies to grow philanthropy and volunteerism in target segments. • Programme Development & Implementation: You will work closely with partners within and outside Government to develop, implement and assess the progress of programmes to grow philanthropy and volunteerism. • Digital Platform Development: You will work closely with stakeholders to develop digital platforms and systems to promote volunteering and donating in Singapore.
