What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
- Evaluate strategic projects in terms of project costing, review of assumptions and methodologies and recommendation of appropriate funding sources
- Assess financial feasibility of projects through financial modelling
- Seek funding from Ministries for projects
- Provide support for new projects, in terms of setting up financial operating and reporting framework
- Analyse divisions’ quarterly financial performances
- Evaluate divisions’ operating/development budget requirements
- Monitor budget utilisation of divisions
- Provide any other ad hoc financial advisory support to divisions/ projects
What we are looking for
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities,
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance or Business; ACCA
- Chartered Accountant would have an added advantage
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience financial advisory roles
- Strong analytical skills, with strategic thinking
- Strong financial modelling and Microsoft excel skills
- Pro-active, positive, assertive and willing to accept challenges
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels in the organization
- Able to keep abreast of fast-paced changes and developments
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Team player with good written, communication and presentation skills
