Executive / Greenery and Development Planning (Contract)

What the role is

You will be part of the Greenery & Development Planning team in the Policy and Planning Division of NParks.

What you will be working on

You will evaluate and process development applications and liaise with architects, engineers and government agencies to ensure compliance with NParks’ requirements on conservation of trees, greenery provision and planting requirements. You will conduct site inspections to ascertain compliance with the approved plans.

You may be required to assist in formulating and reviewing planting and greenery guidelines, requirements and procedures, and other events such as stakeholder engagement sessions.

What we are looking for

  • Areas of study in Horticulture/Landscaping, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or related disciplines

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Task-oriented; be able to work independently

  • Good team player, keen to learn and contribute 

  • Knowledge of IT software such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Building Information Modelling (BIM) will be an advantage

  • Preferably possess own transport to facilitate site inspections

Successful candidate will be offered an 11-month contract employment. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
