What you will be working on

• Support the full lifecycle of the SB-FRS 117 solution project, including market research, procurement, implementation, and post-go-live activities. • Conduct market research to identify suitable SB-FRS117 / IFRS 17 solutions aligned with organisational requirements. • Assist in preparing tender specifications and manage procurement activities, including tender evaluation and proposal recommendation. • Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial teams, and IT managers from the insurance product lines to ensure alignment and stakeholder engagement. • Work with the selected vendor to coordinate system design, testing, customisation, and integration. • Facilitate integration of the SB-FRS 117 solution with existing systems, including SAP Financial (GL) system and Prophet actuarial software. • Support the setup and deployment of the system on Government cloud infrastructure, if the solution is not SaaS-based. • Monitor project risks and issues, coordinating resolutions with relevant stakeholders. • Provide regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations throughout the project. • Lead stakeholder engagement across multiple departments to drive coordinated project delivery. • Establish governance frameworks and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with the accounting standard.

What we are looking for

We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team. • Relevant experience in IT system implementation projects, preferably involving finance or actuarial systems. • Have experience in SB-FRS117 / IFRS 17 insurance accounting standards and their practical application. • Have experience with SAP Financial (GL) modules and actuarial software such as Prophet. • Have experience with procurement and vendor management processes. • Have experience in stakeholder engagement and coordination across multiple departments. • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure deployment, preferably within government or regulated environments. • Knowledge of project risk management and issue resolution coordination. • Knowledge of tender specification preparation and evaluation processes. • Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking. • Works independently and manages priorities effectively. • Adaptable and resourceful in handling different tasks and challenges. • Demonstrates analytical thinking when evaluating complex business and technical requirements. • Shows attention to detail in ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
