What you will be working on
- Spearhead transformation and process improvement initiatives within the Ministry to achieve audit excellence
- Advance the IA cluster by driving harmonisation of audit frameworks, coordinating cluster initiatives, and supporting workforce development programmes
- Design and implement change management strategies to secure stakeholder buy-in
- Support strategic audit planning through risk-based approaches and implement robust quality assurance initiatives
- Drive strategic communications and stakeholder engagement to promote audit's value proposition and strengthen collaborative relationships
Challenge(s)
- Staying current with evolving internal audit methodologies, new technologies and industry best practices
- Managing expectations while navigating change resistance and ensuring sustainable implementation of new practices
What we are looking for
- Education in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information Systems Auditor will be preferred, including candidates currently pursuing these certifications
- Keen interest in or understanding of internal audit frameworks and methodologies with prior audit experience being advantageous
- Innovative mindset to think creatively, challenge conventional approaches, and explore new technologies, solutions and methodologies
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with good project management abilities to handle concurrent initiatives
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
