What the role is

The Strategic Planning & Policy Department (SPPD) oversees AGO’s strategic planning process and policy formulation. It functions as the centre for knowledge and insights at AGO. SPPD also performs liaison work and fosters constructive partnerships with local and international stakeholders.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities: Primary Role Support AGO’s public relations and stakeholder engagement by: • Planning and executing events and activities under the ASEANSAI Chairmanship. • Hosting international delegations and fostering cross-border collaboration. • Strengthening relationships with the public sector community through bilateral meetings, dialogues, and sharing sessions. • Enhancing AGO’s communication outreach by designing clear and impactful visuals and infographics to make AGO’s reports more accessible. • Managing AGO’s public communication platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, AGO website) to reinforce the organisation’s profile and visibility. Secondary Role Contribute to AGO’s policy and operational initiatives by: • Supporting SPPD workstreams, including the collation and analysis of relevant statistics for AGO’s internal reports. • Advancing knowledge management (KM) initiatives through: i) Administering access rights for KM systems. ii) Coordinating with KM Resource Persons to promote effective knowledge sharing. iii) Monitoring KM progress (e.g., surveys) and ensuring timely updates on AGO’s intranet.

Requirements: • Tertiary qualifications • Applicant must be a Singapore Citizen • Having knowledge/ experience in event management or communications work will be an advantage (Applicants with no experience may apply) What we are looking for: Candidate should • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. • Possess a keen design aesthetic and creativity. • Be able to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve results, even under high pressure and in ambiguous situations. • Be meticulous, organised and have good project management skills. • Be adaptable and innovative in responding to changing needs and challenges.
