The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 12-months Full-time contract. What you will be working on

1. Communities of Care Grants - Strategic oversight of Communities of Care grant application cycles, evaluate submissions for quality and alignment with programme objectives, and ensure compliance with guidelines. - Negotiate timelines and responsibilities with internal evaluation panel, monitor panel performance, and track approval processes to ensure alignment with programme goals and deadlines. - Analyse grant utilisation patterns and enforce compliance with funding guidelines. - Review financial reports to optimise allocation, mitigate risks, and provide informed recommendations to leadership that prevent potential disruptions to grant execution. 2. SportCares Scholarships - Assess eligibility for new and renewal SportCares scholarship applications, identify top candidates, and recommend improvements to selection criteria. - Coordinate with schools, parents, and applicants to gather documentation and maintain strong relationships while enforcing submission deadlines. - Review scholars' academic and volunteering progress, evaluate alignment with programme goals, and propose interventions for underperforming scholars. 3. SportCares Bursaries - Analyse bursary applications, verify eligibility, and establish clear documentation criteria while streamlining collaboration with Academies and Clubs to increase programme efficiency. - Oversee bursary disbursement, maintain recipient records, ensure compliance with programme guidelines, and review recipients feedback for process improvements. 4. Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management - Identify key stakeholders and propose targeted communication strategies to improve engagement and response times. - Monitor incoming queries, develop targeted communication strategies, and ensure consistent follow-up on queries to maintain smooth application processes. - Provide applicants guidance on requirements and help applicants understand programme expectations. - Track incomplete submissions, specify documentation needs, and review applications for accuracy to ensure timely processing. 5. Data Management & Reporting - Generate detailed reports for management, analyse progress against targets, and forecast potential delays to ensure milestones stay on track. - Escalate critical issues such as non-compliance or delays to the core team with proposed corrective actions to mitigate risks.

What we are looking for

Requirements: We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: - Tertiary Education in Social Sciences/ Education/ Business Administration/ Arts and Humanities is advantageous. - Minimum 2 years of experience in in programme administration, stakeholder management, or community engagement, preferably in the community, sporting, or social service sectors. - Strong project coordination skills, including maintaining timelines, tracking deliverables, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. - Comfortable using data and feedback to adapt strategies, evaluate effectiveness, and strengthen outreach impact. - Familiarity with digital tools for programme tracking, reporting, and communication. - Strong administrative and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. - Professional integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information essential, along with alignment to organisational values.
