Investigation Support Officer (Assets Management) (Contract) - SPF/ CAD

As an Investigation Support Officer, you will be part of a team supporting the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD)’s operations, which is essential in helping CAD achieve its mission of preventing, deterring and detecting financial crime. The Investigation Support Officers (Assets Management) provide critical investigative support to enable CAD to conduct investigations and manage and realise seized assets more efficiently and effectively. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.

As Investigation Support Officers (Assets Management), your responsibilities will include: • Manage and oversee the procurement of services required, draft procurement paperwork and evaluate quotations • Work closely with appointed vendors/ their subcontractors to ensure that the physical assets are accounted for, regularly maintained and properly valued, supervise, track the vendors’ progress in their provision of services and handle all related administrative matters including accurate and timely status reports and invoicing • Monitor and track progress of project milestones, ensure proper collection and accounting of public monies after disposal of assets and prepare status updates for senior management/at designated milestones.

Requirements • Any field of study • At least two years of experience in providing investigation support or other support work • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Is an astute problem-solver and be able to take on an innovative approach to issues • Able to multi-task and work under pressure • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately • Able to carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision Short-listed candidates will be notified within two weeks after the closing date for applications.
