If you have what it takes to build Singapore’s digital future with us, we are looking for a Senior Manager for the role of Incentive Management and Governance, Operations!

What the role is:
 Part of the Corporate Group in IMDA, in the Incentive Management and Governance division.
 Lead team to automate and simplify grant processes and analyse grant data to transform and digitalise grant operations to enable efficient and effective grant governance and end-to-end grant administration processes in IMDA.
 Guide the development and streamlining of grant processes and operations to guide IMDA divisions in the use of public funds to support projects with industry, non-profit organisations, and individuals to achieve outcomes that are aligned to IMDA’s charter.
 Safeguard IMDA’s interest and public funds, and make sure it is spent on intended purposes.

What you will be working on

What you will be working on:

  • Supervise the team to automate, simplify and analyse grant data for smart grant processing to enable improvement and achieve 50% efficiency gain in grant operations.
  • Be a change agent to champion Digitalisation/Operational Transformation and Process automation projects to drive continuous process improvement and excellence by streamlining, redesigning and automating and digitalising any manual, repetitive, time-consuming processes and tasks.
  • Oversee the Incentive Management & Governance (IMG) Operations team to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day execution of grant operational related tasks. conduct regular reviews of operational challenges and occasional issues faced by grantees and business lines, and outsourced claims vendors, and engagement with key internal stakeholders (IMG Policy and Partners Teams, Finance, Line Divisions) to ensure prompt and effective resolution of operational issues by identifying areas for improvement and put-up recommendations on proposed changes to operation processes.
  • Work with IMG Policy team to lead the execution of the revised grant audit framework to ensure strong governance and compliance of grant operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of grant claims
  • Guide team on contract management to manage the performance monitoring for the outsourced claims auditors to monitor and ensure vendors meet the service level standards and agreements (SLAs).
  • Mentor and motivate staff to foster team collaboration, achieve productivity and advocate continuous learning for competencies development.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree holder or Polytechnic graduates with at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experiences in operational functions and data analysis, as well as experience in leading and managing teams
  • Possesses strong planning, prioritizing and organisational abilities to take on leadership role to oversee multiple projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in driving operations efficiency through automation tools e.g. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Operations tools preferred.
  • Possesses the drive to deliver operational excellence with the ability to think and work proactively to address operational issues/challenges and propose solutions to problems.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills stakeholder management skills to lead cross functional teams for collaboration.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Is self-motivated with growth mindset and able to work independently to guide Operations team with minimal supervision.
