Description of Group: You will be part of the Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) that undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults (VAs). Description of Branch: Partner and Capability Development Branch The Partner and Capability Development (PCD) Branch focuses on building the collective capabilities of staff and partner agencies. The team seeks to enhance the coordination of common services, enabling integrated management of partners, vendors and related stakeholders.

What you will be working on

Brief description of Job Scope: You will be part of the Future Capability Development Section / Professional Development Team that oversees the capability building of both staff and sector partners who run the funded programmes of the Rehabilitative Service. You will be part of the team that plans and develops learning and development initiatives and delivers them to support staff in carrying out their distinct roles effectively. Reporting to Assistant Director/Professional Development, the staff will undertake the following key responsibilities: 1. Establish and oversee learning frameworks, including training roadmaps and supervision structure; 2. Oversee the development and delivery of identified trainings and learning initiatives, taking into account emerging needs and changes in the operating environment; 3. Build up a team of trainers and training resources on digital and classroom-based learning platforms; and 4. Contextualise and implement HR or PSD learning and development initiatives. 5. The staff may also be required to contribute to other work areas, where needed.

What we are looking for

Requirements: Qualifications & Experience 1. A degree in Organizational Psychology, Social Science, or a related discipline will be beneficial. 2. Knowledge or experience in designing and implementing staff learning & development initiatives and/or projects 3. Experience in case management and knowledge of offender management would be advantageous Competencies 1. Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams 2.
