Assistant to Senior Manager, Lifestyle
What the role is
What you will be working on
The scope of work includes the following:
1) Support industry development through account management of key groups & brands
As account manager to a number of strategic lifestyle accounts, the officer will engage these accounts to understand their business plans and drive the anchoring of first-in-world/ region experiential concepts including any cross-sector experiences in Singapore. The officer will be responsible for the development and execution of account plans which will grow the companies' business revenue and tourism contributions. This will include discussing plans related to other industry verticals, where the officer will be the main POC to connect these accounts to opportunities in other sectors.
2) Anchor new and innovative F&B and Wellness concepts/ offerings
To drive vistorship, spend and inject vibrancy into Singapore's lifestyle scene, the officer will identify, pursue and nurture leads to anchor attractive lifestyle concepts in key tourism precincts. This can involve first-in-region large-scale experiential dining concepts (i.e., dinnertainment, themed dining) and wellness experiences. The officer may spur local brands to innovate by actively forging collaborations across sectors and/or with other foreign IPs or brands.
For these projects, the officer will be responsible for the facilitation of STB's support, be it financial (e.g. grants to drive experience development) or non-financial.
3) F&B vertical support
The officer will represent tourism interests in inter-governmental workgroups to encourage vibrancy.
Key relationships
The officer will manage accounts and relationships with F&B, retail and wellness brands, key associations and government agencies. He/she will also work closely with various internal teams for the marketing and promotion of Singapore’s lifestyle scene.
What we are looking for
- At least 5 years of working experience. Knowledge of and/or prior experience in the F&B and/or retail industry will be an advantage.
- Strong project management skills with ability to follow-up on tasks in a timely manner
- Good stakeholder management skills and keen ability to foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to effectively administer grants including the assessment of application and processing of grant progress.
