As the Programme Manager/ Senior Programme Manager (Counselling and Student Welfare) (CSW) in the Student Development Curriculum Division, you are primarily responsible for overseeing the implementation, monitoring and review of selected programmes in the Guidance Branch. The work involves the management of work plans and budget, organisation of professional development programmes, tracking programmes deliverables and in general, ensuring the programmes’ success.

What you will be working on
• Establish an effective administrative system to manage, implement, review and improve key processes in administrative areas including finance, procurement, manpower resourcing of CSW work areas
• Oversee the deployment and professional development of all Student Welfare Officers and School Counsellors to schools, so as to maximise the potential of staff and ensure that the needs of the schools and CSW Unit are met
• Partner external and internal stakeholders, including other MOE HQ officers and school personnel to mount, deliver and evaluate professional development programmes to ensure alignment of stakeholders’ interests with the objectives of the Branch
• Gather feedback on ways to improve CSW Unit’s work processes, policies and programmes
What we are looking for
• Strong administration, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills with an eye for detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and tight timelines
• Ability to work well independently and in teams
• Strong competencies in using Excel and/ or other data software
