What you will be working on
• Provide guidance on issues pertaining to educational support for students with special educational needs in mainstream schools
• Develop, monitor and evaluate support structures and processes, programmes, as well as resources to support students with special educational needs in mainstream schools
• Implement strategies to ensure quality psycho-educational services for students with special educational needs
• Mentor Associate Psychologists
• Lead teams in research and development projects related to special educational needs
• Design and conduct training programmes on special educational needs for teachers and allied educators
What we are looking for
• At least a Master's degree in Educational Psychology, School Psychology or Applied Psychology
• Possess relevant requirements for registration or accreditation with recognised professional body as ‘Educational or School Psychologists’
• Good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills as well as ability to work well with different stakeholders
• Embrace the value of professionalism and has a strong passion and drive to work with students with special educational needs and external stakeholders
