What the role is

As an Educational Psychologist in the Special Educational Needs Division, you will lead the delivery of psychological services to schools as well as develop and review policies, programmes, and resources.

What you will be working on

• Provide guidance on issues pertaining to educational support for students with special educational needs in mainstream schools • Develop, monitor and evaluate support structures and processes, programmes, as well as resources to support students with special educational needs in mainstream schools • Implement strategies to ensure quality psycho-educational services for students with special educational needs • Mentor Associate Psychologists • Lead teams in research and development projects related to special educational needs • Design and conduct training programmes on special educational needs for teachers and allied educators

What we are looking for

• At least a Master's degree in Educational Psychology, School Psychology or Applied Psychology • Possess relevant requirements for registration or accreditation with recognised professional body as ‘Educational or School Psychologists’ • Good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills as well as ability to work well with different stakeholders • Embrace the value of professionalism and has a strong passion and drive to work with students with special educational needs and external stakeholders As part of the processing of your application, you may be required to undergo a medical examination that will be fully paid by MOE.
