What you will be working on
Project Management:
You will manage IT projects from initiation through delivery, working closely with outsourced, co-sourced, and insourced development teams. Your role includes coordinating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and maintaining compliance with governance frameworks. You will be responsible for scope definition, resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Data Analysis:
You will gather, process, and analyse various datasets to support project decision-making and identify opportunities for process improvement. This includes transforming raw data into actionable insights, creating visualisations and reports for different audiences, and presenting complex analytical findings in accessible formats for stakeholders across the organisation. You will also evaluate project performance through data-driven metrics and recommend optimisations based on your analysis.
Cross-functional Integration:
A key aspect of this role is leveraging data insights to inform project management decisions and using project management skills to ensure analytical work is delivered effectively and meets business timelines.
What we are looking for
Essential:
• Background in project management, data analysis, business, IT, or related field
• Demonstrated experience in both project coordination and data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis tools, and visualisation software
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects whilst maintaining analytical rigour
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors
Desirable:
• Formal project management certification or training
• Background in business analytics or equivalent qualification
• Experience in digital transformation or IT solution delivery
Personal Attributes:
You should be organised, resourceful, and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where analytical thinking and project delivery skills are equally valued.
Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract.
