What you will be working on
You will:
• Conceptualise, develop, and implement plans to position MOF for the future. These efforts will take reference from public sector transformation efforts and whole-of-government initiatives. They include:
o Redesigning structures and processes to improve organisational performance, strengthening values and culture, and enhancing the competencies of our officers.
o Planning and implementation of GreenGov sustainability measures within MOF and the growth of a sustainability culture and mindset amongst officers.
o Allocation of necessary resources to achieve MOF’s strategic priorities.
• Drive policy-ops-tech integration efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of MOF-HQ’s decisions, policies, and processes. This could be done via data analytics and insights, new digital tools, and process enhancements to improve the performance of MOF systems that are used across government.
What we are looking for
• A background in economics, business, accounting, and/or an interdisciplinary field will be an advantage
• Keen interest in, and passion for public policy work, organisational development and sustainability issues
• Strong analytical and quantitative ability with good writing and verbal communications skills
• Ability to adopt and synthesise multiple perspectives on a broad range of issues, and frame complex issues in a logical and clear manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience or knowledge in organisational change management and/or data analytics is advantageous
