Singapore Polytechnic's Professional and Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy is a leading continuing education and training (CET) academy that advocates the pursuit of lifelong learning and skills mastery. We offer a wide range of training programmes for adult learners to enhance their employability and partner the industry closely in workforce development. PACE also help companies build and develop their workplace learning capabilities, solutions and systems through training and consultancy projects.

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Programme Innovation & Solutions), the appointee design and implement curriculum innovation for Continuing Education & Training (CET) to support workforce upskilling and transformation. The appointee works in a team of learning solutionist in PACE Academy, and curate innovative and fit-to-purpose training and workplace learning solutions to meet the evolving learning needs from companies, industry sectors and adult learners, including managing of projects that enable workforce upskilling and enterprise transformation.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities: -

  • Analyse market demand, job-skills insights and learning needs from companies, industry sectors and adult learners.
  • Interpret key trends in CET, understand current internal and external state/landscape, and push SP forward by developing new programmes and solutions to maintain SP’s competitive edge.
  • Curate innovative and fit-to-purpose training solutions to meet evolving learning needs from companies, industry sectors and adult learners.
  • Implement new pedagogical and technology approach in curriculum design, delivery and assessment for CET and Workplace Learning.
  • Experiment emerging educational technologies for curation of CET contents at speed and just-in-time, e.g. AI-driven contents curation.
  • Manage Workplace Learning Training and Projects (under National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE@SP)) and Enterprise Transformation Projects.
  • Oversee the whole life cycle of Workplace Learning Projects and Mentorship Support Projects on integrated training and technology solutions for enterprises, from curation of project proposal, submission to funding agencies for funding approval, project kick-off and commencement, project closure and post-project survey.
  • Review project deliverables and outcomes and recommend measures for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with NACE Centres across Institute of Higher Learning (IHLs), SkillsFuture Singapore and industry on NACE initiatives at national level
  • Establish and maintain fruitful relationships with internal and external stakeholders for programmes innovation and solutions.

What we are looking for

Requirements: -

  • Competent in learning & development, e.g. learning solution design, workplace learning solution design, curriculum design, technology-enabled learning delivery, talent management, performance management, etc.
  • Resourceful, proactive, enterprising, persuasive.
  • Good project management skills and time management.
  • Strong business writing and communication skills.
  • Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Preferably more than 5 years of experience in educational institutions of higher learning or/and Continuing Education and Training (CET) sector.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
