What the role is

When assigned a case, you will conduct thorough investigation into offences of unauthorised travel committed by the bankrupt under Bankruptcy Act (Cap.20) / Insolvency, Restructuring & Dissolution Act 2018.

What you will be working on

As part of the investigation team, you will be required to perform the following: • Conduct investigative interviews with the relevant parties into offences committed by bankrupts who travelled out of Singapore without having obtained prior permission from the trustee-in-bankruptcy. • Gather, review and assess evidence, and prepare reports on the investigative findings and recommend the appropriate enforcement actions in accordance with the prevailing enforcement framework. • Administer enforcement-related actions such as issuing warning, composition offers and assist the prosecution officer for cases warranting prosecution. • Engage and coordinate with internal and external parties for investigation/enforcement-related matters.

What we are looking for

The following are the skills, attributes and relevant experience you should possess: • Experience in investigation or enforcement work. • Good command in spoken and written English; conversance in multiple languages is an added advantage. • Meticulous and able to work both independently and as a team. • Ability to manage time well and work under tight deadlines. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to work using case management systems. • Possess high standards of professionalism, personal discipline and integrity. Successful candidates will be appointed on a 11-month non-renewable contract.
