What the role is

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate UX Designer to support the ongoing design and evolution of our CTO-as-a-Service platform.
In this role, you will design clear and intuitive user experiences that make it easier for businesses to understand their digital needs and navigate the steps of their transformation journey. You will work closely with product manager, developers to introduce new features, improve user workflows and iterate based on research and feedback.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research through stakeholder/end-user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand the user behaviours, needs, motivations, and pain points
  • Translate research findings into clear user journeys, personas, task flows and actionable design that improve usability and driver user satisfaction
  • Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate interaction and design intent
  • Conduct usability testing and feedback loops with the stakeholders and end-user. Incorporate user feedback into the design process, iterating on designs to enhance usability and accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers and developers, and government agencies to ensure designs align with regulatory requirements and technical constraints.
  • Support the implementation of Singapore's Digital Government Blueprint through thoughtful service design.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to IMDA's design system and standards. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions that enhance Singapore's digital competitiveness and citizen experience.
  • Advocate for best practices in UX/UI design, contributing to style guides and design systems.

What we are looking for

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer, or related field.
  • At least 2 - 4 years of work experience in designing web/mobile products
  • Strong design philosophy, deep understanding and practical experience in user experience design and related fields. Familiarity with government digital services, public sector design challenges, or B2B platform design is advantageous.
  • Proficient in various design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, or similar platforms for wireframing and prototyping will be added advantage.
  • A user-advocate mindset, grounded in design thinking and openness to feedback
  • Familiarity with small business/SME needs, challenges, or digital adoption journey will be an added advantage.
  • Strong curiosity, willingness to explore alternatives and ability to iterate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, policy-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present design concepts to diverse stakeholders including government officials and technical teams.
