The Corporate Services division works closely with other NYC divisions to provide strategic financial, procurement, human resource, organisational development and administrative support. As part of the Corporate Services division, the Finance & Procurement (F&P) department ensures that NYC’s financial resources are optimally allocated and utilised, while promoting good corporate governance practices and accountability.
You will be at the heart of our financial activities, supporting critical and time-sensitive daily and year-end closing operations in Accounts Receivable, Asset Management and supporting other financial areas.

What you will be working on
• Ensure timely completion of regular operations including monthly reconciliations (bank, deposit, development projects), ageing reports, asset transactions, and system management to maintain smooth operations.
• Apply accounting treatments and financial policies to ensure accurate recording and integrity of financial transactions.
• Perform data analysis of financial transactions and data by leveraging on automation and digitalisation tools to provide insights that support management decision-making.
• Review and enhance policies and procedures, including engaging stakeholders to identify and address operational concerns.
• Understand and analyse user issues and advise them on the options that best meet their requirements while ensuring compliance to financial policies and guidelines.
What we are looking for
• Relevant experience in Accounts Receivable and Asset Management with at least two (2) years of relevant working experience in Public Sector; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude with excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive, resourceful team player who can effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt well in a dynamic environment.
• Good understanding of Government fiscal policies, processes and systems, with experience in transformation, digitisation and change management projects.
• Experience in data analysis and familiarity with data visualisation tools like PowerBI; proficiency in Power Automate, Power App, Python or UiPath would be advantageous.
