We are seeking an experienced lawyer to lead the IRAS Prosecution, Corporate & Legislation Branch, a key part of IRAS’ Law Division. The Branch is responsible for prosecuting tax offences in the State Courts, advising on IRAS’ corporate and administrative functions, and working with tax policy teams on legislative drafting.

What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead prosecution assessments and prosecution of tax offences in the State Courts.
- Supervise provision of legal advice on IRAS’ administrative and corporate functions.
- Collaborate with tax policy teams and supervise the drafting of tax legislation.
- Mentor and guide legal officers, fostering professional growth and excellence.
What we are looking for
- Excellent law degree and admission to the Singapore Bar
- Experience in prosecution or defence work, and in advisory work
- Commitment to delivering excellence in the public service
- Capable leadership and people management skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams
