We are looking for a creative and highly-driven individual to join our Outreach and Engagement team.
As part of URA’s Strategic Communications and Outreach Group, you will conceptualise, organise and manage a range of outreach projects to positively shape public perception of URA and grow support for our work amongst our target audiences. A key responsibility is in managing URA’s Singapore City Gallery as an important engagement platform and to enhance it as a must-visit destination for Singaporeans through effective programming.

What you will be working on
You will be part of a dynamic team managing the revamp of the Singapore City Gallery, which involves updating the Gallery with the latest urban plans for Singapore and exploring new ways of presenting content, including tapping new exhibition technologies, the use of immersive environments and Artificial Intelligence to attract a wider local audience.
The role includes working with various stakeholders to plan and execute outreach programmes that leverage the Gallery to build appreciation for URA’s plans and challenges amongst the local community. You will also coordinate requests for official visits to the Gallery and attend to visitor feedback and enquiries.
Ensuring that visitors have a positive experience at the gallery will also be part of your responsibilities. This entails ensuring exhibits are well maintained as well as working closely with colleagues to manage daily operational issues and regular maintenance regimes. In addition, you are expected to maintain, review and enhance SOPs to facilitate the effective management of the Gallery.
Beyond the responsibilities for the Singapore City Gallery, you will also contribute towards growing URA’s network of partners and advocates. This would include planning and executing projects to involve and collaborate with various stakeholders in URA’s work as well as tapping on innovative tools such as digital technology and marcomms assets to do so.
What we are looking for
• A degree in communications or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of experience in public outreach/engagement, marketing, communications, or project management preferred. We welcome fresh graduates to apply as well.
• Excellent writing, communications, research, and project management skills.
• Inventive and resourceful, passionate about ideating and embarking on new ways to engage members of public and stakeholders.
• Experience in permanent exhibition revamp projects, including content and SOP development, would be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with people from all walks of life.
• Team player who is willing to work on occasional weekends when required.
