We are looking for an energetic and driven team player to be part of the Election Resource Division in Elections Department. The team is responsible to ensure the readiness of electoral premises, logistics and transportation services needed for the conduct of an election, with the aim of delivering impartial and effective electoral services.

What you will be working on
Your primary responsibilities will broadly cover:
• Assume the role of system owner cum contract manager for the unified helpdesk system to support election officials on queries related to logistics, transport, printing and IT devices during an election
• Liaise with strategic partners to plan the transportation routes between electoral premises on Polling Day/Counting Night
• Liaise with other government agencies (e.g. Ministry of Education, Housing Development Board and People’s Association) on matters pertaining to the use of their premises for elections
• Support the management of the contract for transport and logistics services, including regular stocktake exercises and inventory management
• Any other duties, as assigned by supervisor or management
What we are looking for
• Self-driven, meticulous and committed individual able to work independently and within teams
• At least 3 years of contract management experience in areas of logistics or relevant working experience (Working experience in public sector will be an advantage)
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders and across all levels within the organisation
• Must be prepared to work extended hours under pressure during the election period
• Singaporean only
