The Lead Engineer / Engineer (Digital Programmes & Engagement) supports the Deputy Director (Strategy & Transformation) in advancing HTX's digital transformation efforts. This role focuses on fostering an AI and Digital-First mindset within the organisation by raising awareness and knowledge of digitalisation strategies and plans, including the use of digital tools that enable all staff to implement digitalisation in their respective business domains. Additionally, the Lead Engineer / Engineer (Digital Programmes & Engagement) is responsible for designing and implementing gamification programme using low-code/no-code tools, while building and engaging the digital community through effective communication and programme delivery.

What you will be working on
The jobholder is responsible for the following:
· Deliver communications and maintain information sites to raise awareness of digital strategies, plans, policies, relevant digital upskilling training resources, guidelines, tips, FAQs, and more.
· Foster and enable a vibrant digital community that adopts an AI and Digital-First mindset, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration across functions.
· Promote digitalisation and align staff with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
· Conduct organisation-wide programmes, events and competitions to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, continuous learning, and experimentation.
· Design and implement end-to-end gamification programmes – from conceptual planning and user experience design to developing and deploying applications using low-code/no-code tools – alongside rewards and recognition initiatives to drive adoption of digital tools.
· Maintain, enhance and optimise the gamification application through an agile, iterative approach to continuously improve functionality and user experience.
· Assist project teams with the publicity and launch of their products and systems.
What we are looking for
· Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information & Communications Technology, or related fields. A degree in Business, Communications, or equivalent with strong technical background will also be considered.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in digital transformation, application development using low-code/no-code, or community engagement with a strong technical focus.
· Experience in digital programme development and execution will be advantageous
· Proficient in using digital tools such as productivity software, automation bots, analytics dashboards, experienced in designing and deploying solutions using low-code/no-code development is preferred
· Proficient in UI/UX and skilled in using design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva etc.) to create engaging EDMs, posters and more.
· Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations, articulate ideas clearly, and confidently engage and influence stakeholders
· Be adaptable and dynamic as the digital landscape evolves
· Be a dependable team player who is accommodating and can work with others, because the work scope is fluid and evolves rapidly
All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
