What the role is

Part of the Digital Industry and Talent Group in IMDA, the Human Capital Cluster (HCC) seeks to strategise and develop talent attraction initiatives to help Singapore position itself to capture opportunities in the digital economy.

You will be part of HCC’s Talent Development division that manages programmes to groom a pipeline of talent to drive the Digital Economy and become the next generation of leaders in the infocomm media (ICM) sector.

What you will be working on:

  • Champion digital transformation and business process reengineering initiatives for Talent Development division that enables enhanced customer experience and improved productivity for the delivery of leadership programmes under IMDA’s SG Digital Leadership Accelerator.
  • Develop business use case for areas identified for potential digitalisation/business process re-engineering and obtain buy-in from key stakeholders within HCC and across IMDA. End-to-end oversight of digitalisation projects, from planning to execution. 
  • Identify opportunities to apply new digital transformation technologies and/or enhance existing digital solutions as part of solutioning to enable the team to ‘do less and achieve more’. Build, test and implement process improvement solutions using various technologies and tools (e.g., RPA). 
  • Collaborate across all divisions/departments within HCC and IMDA to drive process improvement initiatives that will be aligned with IMDA’s digital transformation priorities
  • Develop strategic data insights and institutional reporting/dashboards to support management decision making on tech talent strategy.

What we are looking for

What we are looking for:

  • Background in Engineering/Business Analytics or other related fields with preferably 2-5 years of working experience in a business intelligence/business process reengineering/data management role
  • Experience in business process improvement and project management with relevant qualifications (e.g., Scrum, Lean/Six Sigma)
  • Experience in building RPA solutions across multiple tools/systems, as well as relevant certification in automation tools (eg. Workato) is advantageous
  • Excellent business analysis skills: business needs definition, process/data mapping, UAT execution, stakeholder relationship management
  • Experience with analysing data using business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik). Previous experience in programming is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills to analyse situations and make sound judgements. Result-driven self-starter and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Great attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication details to handle a wide range of stakeholders
