What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities:
1) Data Management and Quality
• Ensure that data collected is accurate, clean, and well-organised.
• Manage all stages of data handling—from collection to validation and preparation for use.
• Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity.
• Support data migration and other related projects as needed.
2) Dashboard Development and Maintenance
• Develop and maintain user-friendly dashboards and visual reports that clearly present key business information.
• Collaborate with various teams to translate data into actionable insights.
• Continuously seek and implement innovative ways to enhance dashboard functionality and user experience.
3) Process Improvement and Automation
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate data processes to improve efficiency.
• Translate business needs into clear data and reporting requirements.
4) Data Requests and Governance
• Assess and respond to data requests from different teams promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all data sharing complies with security standards and company policies.
• Regularly review and refine data sharing workflows to improve accessibility and compliance.
5) Data Analysis and Reporting
• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns relevant to business operations.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and share insights to support operational improvements.
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders to aid informed decision-making.
What we are looking for
Job Requirements:
Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
Proficiency in data analysis tools, especially Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions and pivot tables).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a strong advantage.
• Basic knowledge of data governance, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Skills:
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
• Competent in creating clear, effective dashboards and visual reports that cater to different business users.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain data findings to non-technical audiences.
• Good collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Aptitudes and Abilities:
• Detail-oriented and meticulous in managing and validating data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities for process automation and improvement.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and adapting to changing business requirements.
• Willingness to learn and keep updated on emerging data tools and technologies.
