What you will be working on

• Lead tender calling for sensors and monitoring systems, manage vendor relationships and contractor supervision, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders while overseeing procurement processes and inventory management. • Plan and implement maintenance activities for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and instruments such as flowmeters, level meters, H2S meters, pressure meters, CO meters etc at pumping installations, Odour Control Facilities (OCFs), bubbler level system and Key Node Junctions (KNJ). • Apply anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and optimisation algorithms for pumping installations asset monitoring and maintenance scheduling, that include developing and refining analytical dashboards for asset performance tracking to support the transition to performance-based and predictive maintenance strategies. • Implement cyber security requirements and recommendations arising from cyber related audits, that include reviewing cybersecurity controls/policies/processes and enforcing cybersecurity compliance procedures and requirements for WRN SCADA system • Operate hydraulic and hydrological simulation models for pumping installations and tunnel flows to support system performance and design decisions, including monitoring tunnel flow and executing flow diversion operations. • Formulate and coordinate deep tunnel failure response plans, that include leading cross-section teams in planning and execution of such exercises.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Electrical/Environmental/Hydraulic Engineering or relevant disciplines such as data science and analytics, info-communications etc. • Familiar in machine learning concepts including anomaly detection, predictive maintenance algorithms, and data-driven optimisation. Experience with analytics tools is essential. • Understanding of hydraulic simulation software, hydrological modelling principles, and water system operations to support tunnel flow analysis and pumping installation optimisation. • Fit and able to work outdoors/carry out site work • Comfortable with working in used water environment • Able to respond to urgent situations outside normal working hours at short notice • High Emotional Quotient and able to interact with and manage public stakeholders
