About the Global Enterprises Division  

The Global Enterprises Division fronts EDB’s engagement with existing and new international businesses, by assessing, supporting and facilitating their investment plans in Singapore. This team interacts directly with companies across a range of industries and geographical regions.  

What you will be working on

The Client Services team is responsible for responding to inbound enquires, through emails, calls and walk-ins, from companies and individuals seeking to engage with EDB. This includes triaging the requests, assessing companies’ investment needs, providing initial information or assistance to facilitate their plans, and routing the requests to the right team in EDB or broader Sing Gov for further assistance. This also includes manning the reception desk on EDB’s meeting space on Level 28 and assisting officers and guests in navigating the use of Level 28.  

We are looking for a customer-centric Executive with a passion to provide EDB’s clients with a positive investor experience. This candidate must have the curiosity and learning mind-set in building up knowledge on Singapore’s business environment and industry sectors, to effectively respond to enquiries.  

 

This role is a 1-year full time contract role. 

Key responsibilities will include:  

  • Support the main reception OIC on reception duties, especially during peak hours, seated primarily at Level 28 reception 

  • Servicing enquiries and providing EDB’s clients with relevant information and connections to Singapore’s business environment and EDB’s promoted industries  

  • Working with EDB’s internal divisions, as well as other government agencies, to triage and address requests 

  • Undertake other administrative work relating to companies EDB work with, e.g. routine reviews of their investment plans 

What we are looking for

To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:  

  • At least a Diploma 

  • At least 1 year of work experience in customer engagement related work  

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills who can collaborate well with different stakeholders  

  • Fast and independent learner who can learn on-the-job  

  • High level of initiative, drive and resourcefulness  

  • Strong customer-centricity and service aptitude, with the willingness to go the extra mile  

  • Attention to details 

  • Singaporean
