What you will be working on
The key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
1. Partnership Development and Management
• Identify, establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, community organisations, to achieve desired goals and deliverables.
• Conduct regular communications with stakeholders to provide timely updates, resolve issues and ensure success in outreach and engagement efforts.
• Analyse trends, community needs and best practices to inform programme and partnership strategies. This includes developing public communications narrative for election-related matters.
2. Service Quality
• Plan and coordinate manpower scheduling to ensure consistent and efficient coverage of the public counter.
• Supervise and support counter staff on duty, providing guidance and oversight to maintain service standards.
• Ensure that all public queries are addressed promptly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and service quality.
As a senior officer in ELD, you will be part of a team to support appointed public officers in the preparation and conduct of elections.
What we are looking for
An ideal candidate should possess the following:
• Singapore citizenship
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Passion for community engagement.
• Experience in the government sector will be an advantage
• Critical thinking abilities
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Good people skills and team player
• Must be prepared to work extended hours under pressure during the election period
• At least 6-10 years of relevant working experience.
