Senior Manager/Manager (IT Audit)

What the role is

You will be part of the Group Internal Audit (IA) Team that carries out integrated audits, IT audits and Continuous audits on the Tote Board Group entities (comprising Tote Board, Singapore Pools, and Singapore Turf Club), which are public and private sector organisations, operating in a regulated and digital-driven environment.

What you will be working on

Your key responsibilities would include ensuring robust governance, risk management and internal controls within the Group by performing IT and Continuous audits to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and integrity of IT systems. You will develop audit plans, perform audits, conduct post-audit reviews, recommend improvement for controls and governance practices. As necessary, you will also provide advisory/consulting services on risks and controls regarding new processes, products, and systems.

The role will report into the Head of Department (IT Audit).

What we are looking for

Requirements

  • Background in Computer Science or IT/Cybersecurity related field, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant IT audit experience

  • Candidate with professional certification in CISA or CISSP would have an added advantage.

  • Experienced in the review on the technical configuration of application, operating systems, and database security.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools

  • Experience auditing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and assessing cloud service provider compliance and data protection measures

  • Knowledge of security frameworks, controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, MTCS/SS584, ISO 27017, ISO27001, PDPA, GRA)

  • Prior experience in review of network security including vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure and network penetration test would be viewed favourably.

  • Some level of understanding in programming languages such as C, C++ and Python and experience in using generalised audit software would be an advantage.

  • Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills (both written and oral).

  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and the ability to suggest improvements in optimising work processes to value add to the stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
