What the role is

Branch head (with RO responsibilities)

Leads capability development of the national nuclear energy ecosystem, focusing on research, education, industry participation, human resource development, and stakeholder engagement. Responsible for international coordination and the implementation of strategies to foster public, industrial, and academic involvement for the assessment of potential deployment of nuclear energy.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities

  • Ecosystem Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive national roadmap for nuclear energy ecosystem capability development (including research, education, industry, Human Resource).

  • International Relations: Formulate and implement international relations strategies, leading Government agencies' and industries' engagement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute effective stakeholder involvement plans, including public and industrial engagement strategies.

  • Capability Building: Develop and coordinate with academic, research, and industrial partners to build nuclear energy capabilities.

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track local and international nuclear energy ecosystem development progress and ensure continuous alignment with national strategy and international standards.

  • Industry Participation: Lead initiatives to increase and track domestic industrial capabilities in nuclear energy industry.

What we are looking for

Requirements:​

  • Education:

    • M.S. in Engineering, Public Policy, or related fields

    • Additional qualifications in International Relations and Project Management are advantageous

  • Experience:  

    • 8–10 years in industry or project leadership roles

    • Demonstrated experience in ecosystem, stakeholder, or international relations for large-scale infrastructure projects (nuclear sector preferred).

    • Proven leadership in energy or relevant sectors

  • Skills:  

    • Strategic leadership, negotiation, and high-level communication (including government and public stakeholders).  

    • Cross-functional coordination and cultural competence in international environments.
