As part of the Sectoral Transformation Group in IMDA, the SMEs Go Digital Division aims to help SMEs use digital technologies and build stronger digital capabilities to seize growth opportunities in the digital economy. With digital technology transforming every sector of Singapore’s economy, it is essential that our SMEs make the most of digital technologies to improve operations and generate new revenue for growth.
What you will be working on
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute partnership strategies from stakeholder mapping and lead generation to partnership acquisition
- Develop public-private partnership initiatives in support of SMEs Go Digital priorities and focus areas
- Identify and develop partnerships with strategic partners such as major technology companies, trade associations, chambers, etc. to drive digital adoption (such as in area of AI) by SMEs
- Lead partnership negotiations with key stakeholders to establish partnerships and achieve shared desired outcomes
- Execute and account manage partnership programmes to ensure outcomes and deliverables are met
- Monitor performance of partnerships and drive continuous improvement
- Raise brand equity and awareness of Partnership Initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Arts & Social Sciences or Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in Business Development, Consumer Marketing, Partnership development and/or program management
- Strategic thinker with ability to develop partnership initiatives and strategies that align with organisational priorities
- Good understanding of technology and digitalisation, with track record in developing and implementing partnership programmes.
- Sound understanding of SME ecosystem, SME data and market research to identify partnership opportunities
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to establish partnership agreements
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management across diverse partner types
- Good written and spoken communication, presentation skills to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Resourceful and Creative - able to think out of the box to develop partnerships for reaching out to the different SME target segments.
- Proactive team player that is also able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in account management, programme execution and performance monitoring
