Manager/ Assistant Manager (Strategic Planning), NYC [1-year contract]

The Strategic Planning team articulates NYC’s strategic directions, support the planning and alignment of key strategies across the organisation and with our stakeholders, and monitors the achievement of NYC’s objectives and outcomes. We also play a crucial role in analysing and understanding the youth landscape to identify gaps and opportunities for the organisation to make data-guided decisions. We are looking for a capable individual to join the team in our efforts to support NYC’s strategy formulation – specifically to perform data collation, cleaning, analysis and sharing activities that will allow for derivation of insights and recommendations for youth policy and programming. This is a one-year contract role with the Strategic Planning team.

• Data management and analysis – Work with units in NYC and MCCY Youth Division to collate, clean and analyse quantitative and qualitative engagement data for the purpose of sense-making and reporting to inform decision making. • Stakeholder Engagement – Support in coordination and execution of platforms related to the Council. This includes supporting the running regular meetings, facilitating Council members’ involvement in NYC’s platforms as well as taking lead to plan for the appreciation of the outgoing Council and administrative processes for on-boarding of the new Council in 2026. • Assist in other strategic planning duties including planning, coordination and execution of key decision-making platforms for Senior Management (e.g. CE meetings).

An individual with: o a macro perspective of issues and meticulous eye for details o quantitative and qualitative data management and analytical skills o communication and stakeholder management skills o proficiency with data analysis software (e.g. SPSS) would be advantageous.
