Intern, Recruitment and Engagement

The Accountant-General’s Department (AGD) plays an important role in making Singapore a better place through Finance. At AGD, we aim to be a future-ready leader in transforming Public Sector finance by putting finance at the heart of our decision-making. We do this through building a strong foundation in providing robust financial systems and processes that serve key stakeholders including our pensioners, vendors and the public sector. Our team of accounting professionals work at AGD and are deployed to the public agencies to deliver a wide range of financial and accounting-related services to the Public Service. Together we play a critical role in helping the Government achieve its fiscal and economic objectives through sound stewardship and governance. You will be part of the Recruitment and Engagement team in the Human Capital Management Department to work on Recruitment and Publicity initiatives to enhance our branding and outreach efforts.

The intern will be involved in the following initiatives: • Developing and executing engaging campaigns to meet publicity objectives • Researching current marketing and social media trends to identify innovative content ideas and concepts • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to create compelling content for social media and AGD corporate platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube • Supporting event preparation and participating in outreach activities • Assisting with the recruitment process, including stakeholder engagement and candidate communications • Maintaining and managing content on social media and AGD intranet platform and corporate website

Functional/Technical Competencies • Tertiary Students from disciplines in Human Resources/ Marketing/ Communications/ Psychology or related fields • Creative and able to design using Canva or other related design platforms Generic Competencies • Proactive, results oriented and display strong multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines • Strong analytical, written, communication and inter-personal skills We are looking for an intern who can join us between Jan to April 2026.
