What the role is

This is a 2-year contract position as a Senior Executive in the Centre for Environmental Sustainability.

What you will be working on

The Senior Executive will support the Centre’s business initiatives, including events, exhibitions, and networking activities. In addition, the role provides essential administrative, operational, and secretarial support to ensure smooth Centre operations and events as required. Join a vibrant and purpose-driven team at CfES, where you'll play a key role in supporting our sustainability mission.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate outreach activities and events that connect CfES with industry partners and the wider community.

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Director, helping to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

  • Support internal workflows and team coordination, fostering a positive and well-organised work environment.

  • Manage and follow up on industry leads, helping to build meaningful relationships and explore new opportunities.

  • Use data to generate insights that guide our engagement strategies and strengthen our industry connections.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a motivated and collaborative individual who’s ready to grow with us. Ideally, you bring:

  • Around 5 years of relevant experience in event coordination, administration, or stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with confidence in managing tasks and building connections.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to support lead tracking and reporting.

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute to a shared mission.

  • An interest in sustainability and industry collaboration, with a drive to make a meaningful impact.
