What the role is

We are seeking a motivated HR intern to join our team and contribute to key human resources initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in HR, policy development and operationalisation, and internal communications.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities: • Assist employee resource development projects, including policies, procedures, and employee guidelines • Create engaging communication materials for internal HR initiatives and employee engagement programmes • Research best practices in HR policy documentation and employee communications • Assist in reviewing and standardising existing HR materials for clarity and consistency • Support the design and layout of HR documents and communication pieces • Collaborate with HR team members to ensure materials align with organisational culture and legal requirements • Conduct content audits of existing HR materials and recommend improvements • Create AI bot to facilitate search of HR policies and guidelines in the corporate Intranet • Assist with design of internal communications content e.g. EDMs, infographics, etc and providing support for staff engagement activities. What You will Gain: • Practical experience in HR policy development and documentation, and operationalisation • Skills in professional writing and communication design • Understanding of Public Service guidelines and HR best practices • Experience with document management and content creation tools • Mentorship from experienced HR professionals

What we are looking for

Requirements: • Currently pursuing studies in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or related field • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail • Interest in HR practices and employee engagement • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills Duration: 6 months This role is perfect for someone looking to build foundational HR experience whilst contributing meaningfully to our organisation's people practices.
