[LTA-P&P] DEPUTY MANAGER, POLICY (BUS FINANCING, INVESTMENT AND GOVERNANCE)
What the role is
What you will be working on
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join the Bus Financing, Investment and Governance (BusFIG) team. This team plays a key role to ensure that our public bus services remain efficient, sustainable, and responsive to commuters' needs in the long term.
In this team, you will identify current and emerging risks and needs within the bus industry, and guide policies and investments towards addressing them. You will examine policy considerations and trade-offs, conduct financial analyses, interpret diverse datasets, and collaborate across departments to support informed decision-making. You will also develop and manage oversight processes to ensure our bus industry operates with strong governance and financial responsibility. The work of the team will impact bus service provision, industry relations, funding and resourcing, and corporate governance frameworks, amongst others.
What we are looking for
Degree in any discipline. Background in Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, or Business Administration will be beneficial.
Ability to think critically, formulate structured arguments, and communicate clearly and logically in both written and verbal formats.
Ability to analyse financial and operations data, and develop clear, intuitive explanations.
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong interest for public policy, governance, transport economics. Knowledge of financial analyses or commercial arrangements will be beneficial.
Candidates with strong relevant years of experience may be considered for senior roles.
