Deputy Principal Engineer/Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer (IP2D, ETT)
What the role is
What you will be working on
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
Review and evaluate technical design submissions for electrical equipment, process, instrument, control and automation systems such as electrical switchgears, transformers, generators, protection relay systems, Distributed Control System (DCS), instruments and control equipment, waste handling cranes, steam turbine-generators, flue gas treatments, etc.
Work closely with the consultant, relevant agencies, and authorities to oversee the construction and commissioning of IWMF Phase 2 project.
Prepare tender documents, call and execute contract management such as verify and process progress payments, and monitor and manage budget.
Lead a technical team to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities when IWMF Phase 2 is in operational stage.
What we are looking for
Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
Candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in waste-to-energy facilities are preferred. Candidates with no experience will also be considered.
Candidates with professional certification (e.g. Professional Engineer, Licenced Electrical Worker) will be given preference.
Responsible, committed, resourceful, and a good team player.
Good interpersonal communication, presentation and writing skills.
Able to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays if required, during the commissioning and operational stages of IWMF Phase 2.
