What the role is

In the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), the intern will be involved in can include the following: 1. Research on HR trends and best practices in public and private sector companies. 2. Develop learning interventions and resources of varying formats (e.g. e-learning courseware, videos, case studies, toolkits and infographics). 3. Build AIbots/ Pair Assistants to enhance learning relevance/ application/ transfer 4. Review user interface and experience for tHRive 5. Review competency tagging and content relevance for LEARN products

What you will be working on

1) Lighten the team's bandwidth: The intern provides additional support capacity, enabling the team to focus on strategic priorities and complex initiatives requiring deeper expertise. 2) Improve SHR's research quantity and quality: The intern conducts desktop research and surfaces relevant HR trends and best practices in a timely manner, saving the team significant time on groundwork. This allows the team to quickly synthesise insights and focus on content development rather than information gathering. 3) Supporting SHR's AI and digital efforts: Building AI bots and Pair Assistants aligns with College's effort towards AI-augmented learning experiences. The bots and pair assistants would ideally contribute to College's focus on perf-led learning as well. 4) Improving user experience: Reviewing tHRive's interface helps identify improvements that would enable greater effectiveness in platform use.

What we are looking for

1. High interest in Human Resource. One who would like to make a difference in HR practices in the public sector. 2. Keen interest in designing creative learning resources to engage adult learners. 3. Good analytical, writing and verbal communication skills. 4. Some experience in research and events/project management work 5. Familiar with digital tools and platforms to develop materials such as infographics, EDMs
