Engineer - Senior Principal Engineer (Strategic Land Planning/ LSD)
What the role is
What you will be working on
Part 1: Energy Infrastructure Development
Focusing on the planning and development of key energy infrastructure, including the key facilities (HVDC station, HVAC station, switching station, cables, etc) for electricity imports, the development of the energy clusters (Power plants, Carbon Capture, Energy Storage, Hydrogen), electricity and gas network planning (electricity cables, tunnels/ducts, Gas pipelines, transmission substations, gas high pressure transmission offtake stations, etc). This also include the technical assessment and engaging consultantof greenfield sites for power plants.
Part 2: Electricity Import
Assessing and securing suitable landing sites, including determining feasible sea and land cable routes for electricity imports.
What we are looking for
- A recognised Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Chemical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably with 2 years' working experience in electricity generation and/or network planning, projects implementation, plants/network operations and maintenance
