The intern will assist the Quality Pillar with (where relevant/required):
- Drafting of trade mark examination approaches to ensure our examination practices are consistent and sound, and work manual chapters to provide helpful guidance to stakeholders, through:
o Researching on trade mark examination practices and legal decisions from foreign jurisdictions;
o Consolidating and analysing research and presenting findings clearly;
o Searching IDH for relevant trade mark applications to be used as examples;
o Drafting of proposed practices and approaches.
- Reviewing and revising of existing internal and external examination reference resources to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Reviewing and updating of language in letter templates to improve clarity and readability for stakeholders.

- Strong language ability (reading and writing)
- Comfortable with conducting desktop research and presenting findings
- Any legal background or experience is preferred, though not a requirement
- Able to commit 1 to 2 months
