Applications for the Ministry of Finance (MOF) Summer Internship Programme are now open. As an MOF intern, you will gain valuable insights and contribute to projects that support national policy-making and shape the everyday lives of Singaporeans.
Interns are required to commit at least 10 weeks between May to Aug 2026.
MOF's Communications & Engagement Directorate is looking for undergraduates to undertake the following project(s).
Note: You are welcome to apply for internships/projects with different MOF Directorates if the topics suit your interest and experience. If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to indicate your preferred project(s) prior to the selection interview. We will take into account your preferences in the final allocation, subject to our resourcing needs.

What you will be working on
Project #1: Stakeholder mapping & engagement strategy
You will support strategic communications and engagement functions to ensure effective and timely communications of MOF's policies and initiatives to external stakeholders with the aim of increasing awareness and understanding of MOF’s policies.
Specifically, you will be expected to:
• Conduct research on topics and issues pertinent to MOF, such as ground sentiments around Singapore’s reserves, tax policies etc.
• Ideate new ways to engage MOF’s stakeholders, especially youths.
• Daily media and online media reports.
Project #2: Content production and website refresh
You will be tasked to support:
• The ideation of content and production of non-sensitive / evergreen content for MOF social media platforms.
• Support the team for annual review of social media audit and strategy.
• Support the team in their collaborations with content partners to communicate Budget 2026 announcements. Support MOF corporate website’s refresh.
Depending on the team’s needs, you may also expect to support and/or gain exposure to the team’s other ongoing work and external engagements.
What we are looking for
• Experience in interacting with internal/external stakeholders.
• Keen interest in national and public policy issues.
• Good command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communications skills. Proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and a good team player.
• Undertaking tertiary qualification in public policy, mass communication or related fields.
