What you will be working on
Partnership Development and Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
You will lead collaborative initiatives with Sport Singapore and strategic partners to build a thriving ecosystem that mobilises private sector commitment and community participation in Singapore's sporting excellence. Your role centres on fostering meaningful relationships and creating sustainable engagement platforms that advance our nation's sporting aspirations and strengthen the high-performance sport landscape. These include:
a) Partnership Cultivation and Relationship Management Build and manage relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and community groups to support sporting initiatives.
b) Strategic Engagement and Opportunity Development Identify and develop innovative partnership opportunities through stakeholder engagement platforms that create mutual value within Singapore's sporting ecosystem.
c) Stakeholder Management
Facilitate cross-sector collaboration by coordinating multi-party engagements and aligning diverse stakeholders towards common sporting objectives.
Strategic Policy and Programme Development
You will also be involved in strategic work which includes analysing trends, formulating policies and execution plans, building capabilities in the sporting ecosystem, resource allocation, and driving projects and negotiations.
Specifically, you will work closely with Sport Singapore and other stakeholders on policies and programmes. This includes designing or reviewing policies and programmes to identify enhancement opportunities, driving strategic projects through to completion, and leading complex negotiations that advance Singapore's sporting objectives.
You will analyse industry trends and formulate evidence-based policies and execution plans whilst managing project delivery and stakeholder negotiations. This role requires systematic thinking to understand how different policy areas interconnect and how various stakeholders' interests can be balanced to achieve optimal outcomes for Singapore's sporting landscape.
What we are looking for
Work Experience and Knowledge
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in community engagement, partnership management, client relationship, business development, marketing or corporate social responsibility roles.
2. Experience in developing new partnership opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and/or working with community organisations on public engagement initiatives.
3. Practical experience in planning and executing small-group engagements or community events.
4. Experience in engaging corporate leaders, foundations or high-net worth individuals is advantageous.
5. Familiarity with the local sport or community sector is advantageous.
6. Candidates with background or has a strong interest in partnership and engagement and/or policy will be an advantage.
7. Experience working at the intersection of policy and implementation, particularly in translating strategic intent into operational programmes.
