You provide governance for geospatial data policies and standards, in accordance with Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and MINDEF/SAF’s requirements. You manage the manage the Central Geospatial Data Depository, trial and develop new geospatial prototype products and applications in support of evolving operational needs.

What you will be working on
- Manage geospatial data governance frameworks and ensure data quality and compliance standards
- Identify and implement suitable Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) applications and tools to automate geospatial processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Manage partnerships and stakeholder relationships to support geospatial operations and data sharing initiatives
- Ensure seamless application and data interoperability between MINDEF/SAF systems and stakeholder platforms
- Manage delivery timelines to stakeholders to fulfil operational requirements in Homeland Security operations

- Being prepared for extended hours during contingencies
What we are looking for
- Education in Geospatial Sciences, Applied GIS, Civil Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or Geography
- Prior work experience in geospatial/GIS/data governance with relevant experience in Homeland Security domain is preferred
- Proficiency and good understanding of geospatial and GIS applications
- Good working, communications and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
- Preparedness to work extended hours in event of contingency
