What the role is

The IMDA Accreditation and Spark programmes seeks to nurture and grow promising Singapore-based digital technology companies of different growth stages. If you have the interests and passion for innovative and emerging digital technologies and can communicate with senior executives of high growth digital tech startups, we’d like to have a chat with you.

You will be part of the Enterprise & Ecosystem Development, a dynamic team made up of independent and self-motivated individuals, that works closely with senior executives of digital tech startups to bring them into the Accreditation and Spark programme. You bring deep strength in GenAI QA, perform companies and products due diligence, design new assurance initiatives that help organisations adopt GenAI with confidence. You focus on testing strategies that drive measurable commercial outcomes and support these digital technology companies’ growth journey through developing new local and international market opportunities.

You will also collaborate with both local and international industry partners, large enterprises, Government agencies and internal IMDA divisions to support adoption of best-in-class local-based technology products in the Accreditation and Spark programmes. You help these companies scale by providing clear GenAI assurance, strong test results, and validated performance that strengthen their track records in Singapore’s digital transformation.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise new initiatives to provide assurance on GenAI product adoption, ensuring testing strategies drive measurable commercial impact for leading GenAI companies.
  • Lead validation of LLM, agentic, and GenAI products within secure, enterprise-grade sandbox environments. Provide advanced AI testing tools and services to elevate product quality and reduce adoption risk.
  • Design and implement structured evaluation frameworks covering agent stacks, model configurations, prompt libraries, tool chains, and integration endpoints. Assess reasoning, planning, tool usage, autonomy, and safety across government and enterprise use cases.
  • Analyse GenAI product architecture to identify core tech differentiators. Conduct deep-dive assessments to guide QA strategy.
  • Collaborate with company technical leaders to develop comprehensive test plans targeting hallucinations, risk-based scenarios, reliability, and edge-case behaviours of agent workflows.
  • Use outsourced testing for functionality, performance, and security. Recommend actionable improvements to fix defects and recurring issues, such as reasoning errors.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to track new agentic frameworks, evaluation methods, and GenAI QA tools. Provide technical advisory to accelerate GenAI product adoption.
  • Drive Proof-of-Concepts (POC) with potential buyers. Support Tech Acceleration Lab (TAL) by designing practical, scalable solutions for pilots and enterprise deployments.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Certification in related areas such as: ISTQB Certified Tester AI Testing (CT-AI), ISTQB Certified Tester Testing with Generative AI (CT-GenAI), GSDC Certified AI Testing Professional (CAITP)
  • 8 - 12 years of ICT/ICM experience in Product Quality & Solution Architect; and at least 5 - 8 years of experience with AI and GenAI product testing.
  • Strong knowledge of LLM, RAG, agentic frameworks, MCP and vector retrieval workflows.
  • Experience with testing for hallucination, reasoning accuracy, safety guardrails and tool execution reliability.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards e.g. ISO 17025 / 25010 / 27001 and OWASP – ASVS, etc; and IM8 Government Policy related to software quality, security, and data handling.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to unpack complex technical details to diverse audiences.
