What the role is

Workforce Singapore (WSG) is developing strategies and programmes to engage community-based organisations that support Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) in their later-stage careers. Through deeper relationships, capability-building initiatives, and improved linkages to resources and opportunities, we aim to help these groups better encourage and enable PMETs in their 50s and 60s to achieve their aspirations and thrive in their later-stage careers. The Senior Manager, Strategic Writing will serve as the division's dedicated writing specialist, producing high-quality strategic documents across multiple projects. This role focuses exclusively on crafting compelling papers for budget approvals, concept proposals, programme evaluations, and policy submissions and other written communications that effectively communicate complex workforce development initiatives to senior leadership, ecosystem stakeholders or members of the public.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities Strategic Writing: Author budget approval papers, concept proposals, programme evaluation reports, and other forms of written communications across diverse division projects Content Development: Transform complex project information into clear, persuasive narratives tailored for different audiences Research Integration: Synthesise research findings, data analysis, and stakeholder inputs into coherent, evidence-based documentation Cross-Project Collaboration: Partner with multiple project teams to understand requirements and ensure accurate representation of initiatives Document Management: Maintain writing standards, coordinate review cycles, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs Strategic Communication: Adapt writing style and messaging to suit various government approval processes and stakeholder needs
