What you will be working on
During your internship, you will provide support to the RHD Triage Team where you will be exposed to 3 different critical functions (Assignment, E-Applications and Call Team). The 3 functions are our first touchpoints to the customers. Through this exposure, you will be able to identify, design and develop customer experience improvements for HDB’s customers to better meet their needs. You will:
• Analyse customers’ complaints received via the 3 functions to identify problem areas, root causes and develop targeted measures to improve service delivery;
• Do customer journey mapping for identified priority transactions and online services (e.g. personal experience and observations while processing the 3 functions, review of HDB selected webpages, e-services and collaterals) and assess if customers’ needs are adequately addressed. You may have to interview users to understand the customer journey as-is, solve customer pain points and develop customer journey recommendations to improve the user experience and user interface of the HDB e-services, processes and platforms;
• Make ground observations, or where the transactions statistics appear to be not in line with general norms/protocols. This may include interview and engagement of key RHD staff;
• Do performance monitoring to ensure that HDB’s key service touchpoints are meeting stipulated performance indicators (e.g. waiting time, time taken to accept and close cases, supply and take-up rate of appointment slots, waiting time for appointment slot to be freed up etc); and
• Analyse trends and identify touchpoints which are at risk of not meeting performance standards so that proactive and timely interventions can be taken.
